Boat's in the shop with trolling motor issues. I think it's more user error than anything as I took it apart a couple of months ago due to some tangled fishing line around the prop and don't think I put it back together correctly. It was a mission putting it back together and getting everything to match up just right and ever since then, it seems to grind sporadically, especially on the fastest speed. Gets to the point where it will lock up on the fastest speed so i figured i'd take it to our club mechanic and have him re-assemble it back together after looking at it. I'm really thinking about getting a MinnKota 70lb thrust maxxum with income taxes but need this Motorguide fixed until then.
