Have 1996 nitro 160 tf, 16'.Went to 2009 e-tec 90 hp from 50hp tracker(force),that was way low on power,hard to plane.My dealer set the e-tec in the top hole(lowest setting)and put a evinrude 13.5x15(765182) general purpose 16'-19',26-32 mph prop on her.
Haven't had her on water yet lakes froze here in indiana,but just can't see how this will be right set up.
Seems to me third hole and little more prop might be closer.Dealer will work with me on props after thaw.Motor has no water pressure guage,thinking I might as well get one on and get ready to raise engine and play with props.
Any suggestions on props and motor height??I would like to get closer to right set and be ready to fish,first of March.
Relize will have to get on water first just thought maybe someone has set up simuilar rig.
