Had a great time at C4k this year and it was my first time there. Got there Sunday so we would have most of Monday to prefish. We hadnt been on the water 20 mins Monday morning when I caught a 3.5lbs smallie. Our perfomance fishing was downhill from there though. There were 150 boats in all an the winning weight was a little over 18lbs. Crankin and his partner finished 7th overall so way to go guys. We had three short fish and one rock bass for ourselves. We saw a ton of fish and had many times where one or more would follow or swim beside the bait but we just couldnt entice the to strike. I dropped a finesse worm or shakey head right on several on the beds but they would just dwim away. Still it was a blast, really enjoyed meeting everyone. In the end we burned less than a 1/4 of a tank of gas in two days compared to darths two fuel stops for yesterday lol
