I'll throw this question out to the members here for their ideas.
In my Skeeter/Yamaha rig, I have a 24 volt system for the Minn Kota trolling motor. The battery is a 1998 year Trolling Thunder (one battery, not two) made by Hawker Energy Co, Warrensburg, Mo. At least that where I bought it back then. Like I mentioned, it's 11 years old and has served me very well all these years running many lakes in Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee. It's probably been recharged at lest 500 times. I know it's not going to last but a few more fishing trips. I cannot find anywhere, where I can buy this Trolling Thunder battery. I don't think they make them anymore. So, what other battery is there that has 24 volts in one case? I found the Optima Troll Fury at $467.00, but it's 24" in length. I don't have the space in the Skeeter for this size unit.
