Best day of fishing Everglades we have ever had concerning quality keepers. Fished L67 heading west 8 miles to Tippys restaurant. Caught fish with black worms to start out the day... Fish were deep but water levels were pretty low so lots of fish in the main canal. Also had great hits on flukes weightless by pads. Also caught bass on stickbaits but the best hits definitely occurred in the last 1.5 hours of the day on topwater Rebel Pop-R's. At one point had 12 bass in the livewell ranging from 2-6lbs (couldn't even put 6lber in livewell. Overall caught 35-40 bass in 5 hours. Get out there and catch some fish while water levels keep dropping!
