Hey everybody,
Like the title said I have an '86 Evinrude 15hp rope start motor and was wondering how I can use the motor to charge a small battery for aux. lighting for night fishing. Currently the motor has no wiring coming out of the motor for this. I was looking through my manual and it says the manual start motors have an AC lighting coil. Just seeing if anone has done this with there motor, or if there is an economical way to be able to charge a battery with this motor.
