Finally got to the lake today to try my adjustments.

Lowered the jack plate back down 2" to original position.

Moved one trolling battery from the stern to the bow center.

I immediately saw a difference in stern height once launched, raised it up about 4"

Hole shot improved dramatically, still not great but way better.

Boat got up on plane easier than it ever has since I got this project.

It was just me in the boat today, loaded lite & 1/2 tank of gas it ran 53.7 mph on the gps. No more porpoising and I haven't installed the new hydrofoil yet ... that might cost me 2 or 3 mph @ WOT but think it'll help the boats handling even more and hopefully bring the tach down too.
.
Have to watch the tach because this warmed up 110 will turn the heavily cupped ballistic prop to 6100 and probably a little more if I let stretch on out in good water ... but I'd rather have it where it runs a safe 5500 @ WOT and not worry about it.

It's getting very close fellas, now I need to get the carpet done and study on fishing more. Did fish for 3 hours, got 3 fine small mouths and 4 big fat girls, caught 14 decent crappie but gave them all to a older couple and their grandkids who wasn't catching much.

I love the look on kids faces when they see a fat bass up close & personal :D
