Told the lady to get me an Ardent reel for Christmas. She went on-line and found a reel called "Ardent Everlast" so the ordered one. The reel doesn't have any reference to Ardent on it nor on the package/box. Looked it up and saw Alton Jones pitching it a an I-Cast show. Anyone know about this reel? Oh, it's made in China (of course) and has 9+one stainless bearings. Used it in my pool with some flipping bait/weight and seems to cast just fine.
