So I'm weed whacking my lawn earlier today when I hear an aircraft approaching from the east, and I can tell from the sound of the engines that it's an older bird. I stop what I'm doing and sure enough, at about 2,000 feet up here comes this glorious restored B-24J Liberator. It's chugging along with the most monstrous roar from its Pratt and Whitneys, and it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I mean, I see all sorts of commercial aircraft every day, but there's nothing that can compare to that sight. God bless all of those brave crews who flew them! What a blast from past! Here's the website for the group who owns her:

Keep your eyes peeled, she may be near you soon!
