Well guys, surgery was 9 days ago. I'm still sore as hell, can't move my neck from left to right too well, right shoulder is still numb, and neck is still pretty swollen on the back side. Surgeon wasn't wrong when he told me this 5 hour neck dissection would take around a month for substantial "back to normal" activity.
Don't have a choice though. Out of sick/vac days since i've only been with the company 9 months and got bills to pay. If I take any more than a week off, I have to take a LOA which only pays 70% of full pay. Not an option....
Wish me luck guys. It's back to reality.... Next goal, gain enough mobility out of my shoulder this week to be able to set a hook on Sunday, my next day off!
