Read a story over the weekend about a pipeline project that has been mired in a bureacratic mess since 2008. Its a pipe line they were going to build from Canada' oil area all the way to the gulf of Mexico. It was going to be an undergraound pipeline and its has been sitting in stasis for the past three years. It apparently cleared the environmental hurdles but now the department of the secretary of state has to sign off on it and ut is once again being slowed by environmental concerns. I don't have the exact numbers but it was going to be a large job creator. It may still happen but the story in the Wall Street Journal was pointing to this quagmire as one of the biggest beauracratic messes of the last few years.
