Had a momentary lapse of conscious thought last week and managed to bend the shaft on my trolling motor. It still works, but it is very difficult to operate the foot control. Also, the power doesn't seem to be there. At 40% (the TM has 74 pounds of thrust) power, the boat is hardly moving. The batteries are BRAND new and full charged (25.6 VDC).
Is this a DIY project or should I get it to a professional?
Also, if this is for a pro only, does any one have any suggestions where to take it? I live at Lake of the Ozarks.
