I heard someone mention this a few weeks ago and I was curious what everyone thought. If you found a used bass boat you were interested in and found it it belonged to someone who tournament fishes and was heavily sponsored would it deter you from buying the boat?
The reason I thought about this is I was watching you tube and there was a tournament fisherman that was literally using his boat as a tank and flattening small trees with it to get back into an area to fish. Someone said it probably tore up the boat a bit and he replied that he won the tournament so it seemed to justify it.
Do you think if someone gets a new boat every two years from a sponsor that they tend to be real hard on them or that tournament fishing is hard on them? Do you think its something you would worry about in deciding to buy a used boat? I was just curious because the serious tournament folks probably get new boats every couple of years and I'm sure they end up getting sold to regular fisherman.
