Fished Caesar Creek May 30, 2009 on the Buckeye Crappie Challenge trail. We finished in our usual spot for this lake....(our worst lake) Eight fish limit but we only managed 7 keepers for 3.24 lbs.!!! It took 6# to win it and that was out of 6" of water!!!
Our fish were in 9' to 18' of water caught spider rigging with minnows. We caught lots of small fish under the 9" minimum, in fact we went through 10 dozen minnows and ran out with 3.5 hours left so we long lined for the remainder of the tournament.
If you're thinking of ever coming to Caesar Creek for crappie.........DON'T DO IT!!!
