Well we all rolled into the Rock about thursday afternoon and started pre fishing the James arm of the Rock (since blast off was in Cape Fair). The fishing was really tough, really tough. We could fill the boat up with spots but we couldn't catch any past about 14 3/4 inches. Come show time just one team out of 34 had a limit of fish. 10lbs won it. Only 17 boats weighed fish in. We boated one keeper smalley and Dad lost a really nice one at the boat. no BS it would have went about 5 lbs. The tourny was great tho. Met some new friends and got to see some sweet old champs, tilt a few beers and some heavy belly laughs. We're already planning for next year so mark your calenders. Oct 12, 2012 Cape Fair Marine.
