Fished Delaware saturday June 13, 2009 on the next stop for the Buckeye Crappie Challenge. Most all of the fish were finished spawning and paper thin. We managed a limit within 2 hours that only weighed 4.40# (8 fish) 5.3# won it with big fish of .87!!! Everyone did about the same and it came down to ounces to place. We tied for 13th out of 38 teams.
We caught most of our fishh shallow in about 1.5 to 3 feet of water on Southern Pro Stingers and Southern Pro Lil' Hustlers fished 8" to 1.5" under ice bobbers.
Caught alot of fish long line trolling as well but all the same size. This was the last tournament til September as we get the summer off.
