Well I have been experimenting with alternative fuels in my truck.
#2 Diesel is at 3.90 a gallon right now...and climbing..
I have been running 25% waste motor oil / transmission fluid in my fuel tank for about 3k miles.
I use a series of 30 micron filter to a 10 micron filter and
two passes thru a 1 micron filter. I purchased all filters on ebay for less than 30 dollars.
then straight in the tank.
I have pulled the glow plugs and one injector to see what and if any changes have happened.... they are spotless.
I get a slight blue haze when starting but other than that she runs like a kitty. and has tons of power still.....
So you diesel guys out there..... should look into that.....
Every 450 miles I save myself 35 dollars running WMO/diesel mix.
Which comes up to be less than 2.90 a gallon of fuel.
