I was headed back from lunch today and there was a guyt at a light in fatigues with a small american flag and a bucket with an army sticker on it. He was collecting donations for veterans. I didn't give him anything because there have been so many scams down here where people buy uniforms from army surplus and then pretend they are verterans to get money. I donate items every year to the Vietnam Veterans and have contributed to Wounded Warriors before. Its a sad world when you have to assume that someone collecting money on the street for a worthy cause is not legitimate. I just won't give on the street anymore and reserve my contributions to organizations. What does everyone else do?
