Sorry to say, but the E-Tec would be the last ob I would buy. The way the powerheads are failing is a real problem that they don't seemed too concerend about. I've heard they have dressed powerheads at the factory just waiting to ship. If that's true, that's sad. In my opinion, E-Tec is a slightly changed version of the Fect FI that put OMC under. I don't know of a friend that has an E-Tec that hasn't blown at least one powerhead. One club member just blew a ph with 47hours on it. Another member just blew his second ph. This one was out of warrenty and cost him almost 12K.
