Many of you, well some of you will remember that I got My Hydra Sport back in April and I am just now getting all the work completed. Have had it on the water as I indicated in some earlier posts. But today was the first time to do any kind of serious fishing. Boy did the fish have a good time with me today!
They did me like they used to do me and Roy! The Bass would violently attack the worm and you could actually feel them shaking the bait side to side and the exhale all within a mili-second. As old as I am, no way to react that fast. The Alabama River is getting infested with Spots. Btw: This is the biggest spot I have ever caught in my life. She really showed out as Spots usually do! Threw back some as the livewell indicates that the fish got the better of us today. Oh but what a fun day! So here is the first fish I've caught out of the boat. Been a long summer, a lot of work and long wait but big time worth it!
