I couldn't find the other thread where this started sooo....
Charlie... can't sell that mount. The lighter 70# mount can't handle the thrust of the 82. Well it did but there sure was a lot of flexing going on and I'm sure over time it would be a real issue. Also the clamshell that grips the motor shaft would no longer clamp with enough force to keep trolling motor from dropping bit by bit in rough water.
