I figure any new info is useful to Nitro boat owners. It ain't much but here's my new "info".
I only got one ignition key with my new (2011) Z6. (Dealer couldn't find the other one). Home Depot cut me two new keys .... no problem ... they work ... sort of ...
The reason I wanted to try new keys is because the one and only original key has to be twisted/tried about 9 times before the engine will start. I turn key and it just feels like its blocked/stopped. New keys work the same way. One twist - horn beeps and then I have to keep trying and trying until motor finally fires up.
Brand new boat (@$#@) .... guess I'll be ordering a new ignition switch. (yup tried powdered graphite)
