Well I got up this morning at 5:00 and noticed the fog so I waited until 8:30 to leave the house. Was going to go to Holeyland but they still had US 27 closed in both directions at 9:00 AM. Went down the alley and checked at MM35 and MM31 and the ramps there looked horrible. It looked to me like the ramp ended about 1 or 2 fet from the waterline so I wasn't going to risk busting up the trailer to launch it. US 27 was still closed on the way back so checked the ramp at Southgate. Same story although it looked a little better. Just got sick and tired of driving so I parked the boat in the garage where it will remain until sometime in July or until we get some rain. If we don't get some rain soon these ramps are going to be unusable unless you have a small aluminum boat. I saw a guy with a boat like mine at MM31 and he left as well. I saw some small aluminum boats and bass prowlers fishing but I think these area are pretty much done for me with the ramps.
I hate to say it but we need a tropical storm about now.
