alright i got a 16 foot bumble bee 140 v4 rude im pushing a 23 renegade bass 5000 rpms at 48 mph gps plent of h20 pressure ... now im still running double oil so my rpms dont realy concern me i figure ill getem back after i can stop running the double oil after the ten hours is up... heres the probblem when im on plane running wot i can trim the motor all the way out the prop is still biting and my speed keeps increasing but the roster tail is high about 3 feet over the cowling .. ive heard big rooster tails is a waste of power so do i need to come up on my jack plate will this help im curntly at 3 3/4 under the pad.. i love this prop really rides smoth so i hope to keep it... when i ran my 20pitch raker the the hydrofoil would be about 5 inches out of the water (still had good water preesure) on my four blade renegade running at the same highth(on the jackplate) my hydrofoil is only about a half inch out the water .. thanks any help would be appreciated
