This is something that I have been wondering about for a few weeks now. It began with my realizing just how much I use my cellphone for fishing related activities. I have apps that monitor the weather, follow lake reports, show me how to tie knots, and is even a speedometer for my boat. I can pull up videos on youtube to see new techniques or be on the boards here on BBM. When I'm at home I use my laptop for many of the same things and there is a world of information online as well as being able to shop a myriad of tackle suppliers to find the exact lure, boat part, or anything else I need (or at least think I need). Given that we are all participating in a fishing based web community but overall how much else does non-fishing tech do you use to "feed your need" for fishing?
