The new 2010 units are the 800 series and upgrades to the 700, and 900 series. Same format as the 900 series without the bevels around the screen giving a little more glass to look at. The biggest items are the software upgrades concerning waypoint management, new highspeed GPS antenna, new color palettes for those guys who like the Lowrance look, switchfire options which is the TVG on/off feature renamed, and of course DownScan which shows directly under the boat in a display just like SideImaging. Humminbird has always been able to display directly down with the existing transducer and without an additional frequency needed, no additional modules, or cables.
