I fail to see ANY correlation between F1 racing and the reason why pros run what they do. You can try to justify it all you want, but it comes down to who they can get as a sponser (who will give them a motor that they don't have to spend any money on). They could give to chits less...oh sure, they will spew all about how awesome so and so is but that is in their AGREEMENT! LMAO, look at how many pros have changed boats, lures, motors etc. as sponsers over the years. Few have stayed with ONE single label their entire career. Just like the Nascar sponsers... Unfortunatley all type of outboard racing is a tiny segment that seems to get smaller all the time. When is the last time a F1 race was even televised?:mad: Thats why I don't think BRP or Yam have any interest in competeing. I am sure its not because they are "scared" or anything LMAO
