Since I'm employed in the manufacturing and testing of Jet Engines, I thought I share a little video clip of what it looks like when a large object (like a Canadian Goose) impacts the Stg.1 Fan Blade Assembly of an engine mounted to an outdoor test stand. This is of a blade blow out using a small explosive charge to simulate a blade out failure from impact.......
