Had the strangest thing happen to me while on the water yesterday. I was on a local lake yesterday afternoon. Not a BREATH of wind nor a cloud in the sky. I was in the widest part of the lake, not another boat around stirring up the water...the water was FLAT and SLICK. The sky was so clear that the water was a PERFECT reflection of the sky.
Time to open her up some! WHOOAA!!!..... I got the STRANGEST sensation. Running around 83 mph I could obviously FEEL that I was moving forward but it did not LOOK Like I was moving anywhere. The water was THAT smooth. There was no point of reference for my eyes to register movement.
The signals in my brain were all crossed up and it was really a strang feeling. This ever happen to anyone before?
