I always think as I get dressed for work each morning that if I could stay home instead I would pull out the boat and detail her and fiddle with all my fishing stuff and what a great day off it would be.
Now I'm on my 3rd vacation day and haven't done it yet. So, today I plan to do it. Got to make sure everything's working for the Big O trip this weekend and the 4th is already planned with family which only gives me today or tomorrow but the tail of TS Arthur is bring us storms in the afternoons so since the sun is out now, I'm getting to work. Going to buff a little wax on the hull since Laus3 is borrowing my orbital buffer and I may not have it for a while. I have shelves
full of detailing chemicals that I bought with good intention and never used them. Must be a boat thing...I always feel better starting off with a clean boat than putting one back in the garage. so here's the agenda:
Run the Yammy on the muffs
Top off air in the tires
Grease bearings and motor zerks
Top of water in batts
Wax hull
Test all electronics and switches
And the worst part...fix whatever I find broken that wasn't there last time I used it!
