NAWCA grant funds critical land protection in coastal west Michigan

ANN ARBOR Mich. March 12 2012 Ducks Unlimited was recently awarded a North American Wetlands Conservation Act NAWCA grant to conserve wetland habitat in western Michigan. Project partners will protect a minimum of 1687 acres of wetlands and grasslands in twelve counties. Efforts will also result in the restoration of 300 acres of wetlands and 100 acres of associated warm-season grasslands.
