Sitting here drinking a cup of Joe and looking out over the lake at my boat moored to the pier and wondering why I can't catch anything right now. I went fishing yesterday evening and can't seem to get a bite. I have tried everything except for worms in heavy cover. I know it's hot but I can't seem to catch anything using artificial baits. I understand the biggest problem is my lack of experience with bass fishing so can anyone give me a few pointers to try out here on Lake Tuscaloosa in Alabama?
I have searched and read article after article about what to use and the suggested presentations but the more I read the more the advice seems to contradict each other.
I plan to go back out this evening probably between 7 - 10 and then again tomorrow morning around 05:00 - 10:00. If there are any reliable links or anything you can copy/paste into a reply, please do.
Next cup, then work!
