Crappie are starting to bite here in Ohio. My buddy fished Grand Lake St. Mary's Monday March 9, 2009 and caught 20 in the 9 to 11.5" range. Water is around 44 degrees and fish are being caught under ice bobbers set at 20" deep. Yellow and white produced well for him around docks and boat lifts. We're getting there but supposed to dip down to 33 degrees Thursday!!!
