Well guys ,I had a rough T at the Stren.First day my winch bracket snapped off at the weld near the bow roller while loading the boat .I weighed in a limit of 10-14 on day 1 .Not great but still had me in the running.Caught most of my fish on a Spro Bronze Eye Popper,1/4 oz. chartruse spinner bait and a 4 in. black and blue senko rigged Texas.
Day 2 had a trailer flat on the way to launch[ picked up a large screw ]
Crashed and burned with only 4 fish at 5-12. for a total of 16-10.
I stayed aroud for Saturday and took one of the National Guard College teams out.
My [ Penn State ] team took 4th. with a 6 fish limit of 13-12 out of 42 teams and won $3000 for their college so the week was not a total loss.
Headed for the 1000 Islands Stren this comming Sunday.
Reports have the smallies still on the beds with water temps around 62.
