Anyone got a clever plan to stay organised when doing a repair or restoration?
I use old coffee cans w/ lid to hold screws and such and label them, I also use good ziplock baggies to put bolts and nuts in and drop a pc. of paper in it with it marked what it goes to so reassembly time comes all is easy to find!
Another good one I saw was a guy took the glass baby food jars with metal lids and screwed the lids to a long pc. of wood and hung the lids above his work bench and screwed the glass jars on it and when he needed small parts they were there hanging neatly and verry visable and neat.
Tell us your tricks and ideas!!!
