Planning of getting the ST 170 sometime mid year 2012. It'll be used 80% in the freshwater half of the Cooper River (lots of old rice paddies and major grass) in Charleston, South Carolina. 10% in Lake Moultrie and 10% in saltwater trying to get some shrimp! The boat will have the "gator skin" in camo for the finish (no carpets). Engine: 75 merc 4 stroke, 46 lb thrust trolling motor (12v), batteries gp24 agm for the engine, gp31 for the trolling motor. Electronics: Hummingbird 570 on the bow, Hummingbird 597 CI HD DI on the console. Onboard battery charger, trim/tilt on the steering wheel, Hot shoe/foot for the accelerator. Safety equipment will be picked out at a later date. Is this overkill? Am I missing anything? Trying to keep the price at or below 20K (new). Suggestions/ comments please! AJ B
