Hey Guys.
Made a fishing trip Saturday...First trip out for the year. Was idling back in a cove and hit a under water tree stump. Probably the only one hidden in the lake. My Yamaha immediately started missing/rough idling. etc. Like it was running on three or four cylinders. I went back out in the main lake area and put the Skeeter/Yamaha on plane. Ran it at 5000 rpm's for couple miles and brought the boat back off plane to 1000 rpm's. The engine seems to be starving for fuel, or with too much fuel...flooding, etc.
Could hitting the stump cause such a problem?
