Always in my mind this has been BassCats little hotrod boat. I have had the pleasure of runing a couple of the Sabre's......not the FTD.the standard one's with a 150 Merc and the other had a 150 Rude on them. I was pretty dang pleased with both of them. A friend of mine has one with a 175 Merc on it and quoteing his words exactly"She smokes on da water".
I have always thought that this one of "Best" boats that a person could get for the weekend angler and even for fishing some of the tourneys. Very well thought out with enough ammenities to make it VERY friendly to use. In fact if it werent for shear lack of being a Big Water boat I actually feel you would see ALOT of these heading to the Bigger Tournaments.
