Dan Stier left Elizabeth Park in suburban Detroit Saturday morning as a confident angler. Sitting in second place, approximately 4 pounds off the lead, Stier knew he was around a huge pod of Lake Erie walleyes, the kind needed to win the Cabela's National Walleye Tour season opener.
