Storm Boats Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

Storm Bass and Flats Boats of Pompano Beach, Florida recently celebrated its 25th consecutive year of building unique customized bass and flats boats. To celebrate this milestone, Rick Kornmeier, the companys president spearheaded a special 25th anniversary project boat that reflects Storms long time heritage of building custom fishing boats. The boat, dubbed "The Americana Special" is being touted as the worlds most expensive bass boat and features a custom paint scheme by the world renowned motorcycle artist, Chris Cruz of Deland Florida. Chris spent over six weeks painting and air brushing this unbelievable work of art. The paint scheme features over 9 varieties of fresh and salt water fish, swimming in scenes that look as real and natural as if the viewer was underwater swimming with the fish. The details in this work of art can only be discovered by an intense review. There is a hidden flag in the motor cowling and the planet Mars on the transom and the "Mean Eagle" that dominates the bow! Other features include: billet aluminum fixtures and hardware; braided rigging and wiring tubes; powder coated aluminum trailer; custom wheels; full bench seat with hidden cooler; Stereo and CD player; hydraulic steering, jackplate and trim tabs; Garmin GPS; custom dash panels; anodized aluminum trim package; Mercury 225 HP Optimax motor, sand blasted artwork incorporated into the bilge and storage areas and super detailed rigging. Rick Kornmeier said " This boat has more options and hidden details then any boat weve ever built and we are considering more options like a DVD player, etched artistic windshield, fully upholstered cockpit, spare tire cover and a fax machine! We love building the unusual and unique!" When asked how much this boat would retail for, Rick replied, " Well, if you have to ask" Rumor has it that the boat may be the first bass boat to break the 6 figure barrier!
