I was reading old threads to help in my shopping for a replacement boat for my Stratos with the bad transom. Someone posted that Stratos/Javelin went to complete composite transoms in 1999. Is that a big deal, it sounds like it to me? Second does anyone know when the other major brands (Nitro, Ranger, ProCraft) went to all composite. I have found alot of 1998-1999 Javelin and Stratos boats for sale here. Last question, by previous (still mine actually) is an 18'6" and I have a hard time with 7 ft rod storage, so I was thinking moving to a 19 or 20 foot, thoughts/comments? Thanks in advance.
