Well I got my 1998 Hydra Sports with 150 Johnson FastStrike back on April 15th and finally today was a very special day in that I actually got to get on the Lake with it under power.
With a lot of help from 4Strokes, and others, a great mechanic, Greg at Slapout Marine in Holtville, Alabama, today was a very special day!
Finally got to run at WOT! 5 Months to the day from when I got the rig! Thanks to the Good Lord, you folks and Greg who worked the carbs and put on a new water Pump. I did the easy part but really necessary part which was to install a Hydro-Stabilizer! Amazing what a $30 dollar piece of plastic will do to get the porpoise out of the boat!
Just absolutely Quick out of the hole, up on the pad and plane and gone! Whew!
Now that I can go some where, I am so looking forward to Fishing!
