... Changed a jack plate before. Goin' from 10 to 12. I have the old one off and bolts/nuts look good - no corrosion - no galling - and no other obvious damage. Here's the question: This rig is 14 years old and been toting a 200 xri all of it's life. It's fixing to get a 225 Pro xs. Would you pull'em out and replace them while re-sealing or put'em back in? Normally I would replace them but... where to get the bolts. I trust the quality of the local ACE Hardware just as much as I trust my ex-wife! The bolts that are in there are proven.
